Founded in 1983, FSI was created when John Fletcher and Peary Spaght left the Boston Consulting Group to focus on growth strategy for healthcare and technology clients.

Originally an aeronautical engineer at NASA, Peary brought his capabilities to Fletcher and Company and added a Technology practice as a complement to the firm’s Healthcare practice. Thereafter, the firm changed its name to reflect the partnership that created the foundation of Fletcher Spaght, Inc. Peary was a General Partner of FSI for nearly 40 years and was also instrumental in the creation and management of Fletcher Spaght Ventures.
Prior to FSI, Peary held corporate strategy and operational roles and was a Senior Manager at The Boston Consulting Group, where he and John Fletcher originally met. Peary received an MBA, an MS in Aeronautical/Astronautical Engineering, and a BS in Mechanical Engineering, all from Stanford University.
