Mr. Cohn is a Vice President and Regional Director of Fort Washington Capital Partners Group. In that capacity, Mr. Cohn concentrates his efforts on directing the efforts of the Ohio Capital Fund (OCF) which is managed by Buckeye Venture Partners, a joint venture between Fort Washington Investment Advisors and Peppertree Partners. The OCF was created to act as a catalyst for investing in early stage businesses in Ohio.
Previously, Mr. Cohn founded and ran Navigation Capital Partners, a boutique investment bank focused on raising capital for emerging businesses and providing M&A advisory services. Prior to founding Navigation Capital Partners, he was a Partner and founding member of Mellon Ventures, the venture capital affiliate of Mellon Financial Corporation, which grew to more than $1.3 billion of investments and commitments with investments in over 115 companies and 70 private equity funds. In addition to his direct investment responsibilities, Mr. Cohn was responsible for directing the Mellon Ventures fund investment program. Mr. Cohn served on the boards of several portfolio companies and on the advisory boards of a number of other private equity funds while he was at Mellon Ventures. Previously Paul held various investing and lending positions with Mellon Financial and Westinghouse Credit Corporation. Mr. Cohn received a BS and MBA from Carnegie-Mellon University.
