Richard Berkeley is a General Partner and a manager and member of Camden Partners Holdings; a manager and member of Camden Private Equity Managers I, LLC; and a manager of Camden Private Equity Advisors, LLC. Prior to Camden Partners, Richard served more than 19 years with Alex. Brown & Sons, Inc. and its successor organizations, Bankers Trust Corporation and Deutsche Bank Securities, Inc.

Most recently, Mr. Berkeley was Managing Director and Global Head of the Equity Private Placements Group at Deutsche Bank Securities, Inc. where he was responsible for the origination, structuring, and consummation of private equity financings for private and public companies. Mr. Berkeley has served, or is serving, on the Boards of Directors for a number of private companies and charitable organizations.

He received his B.A, J.D., and M.B.A. Degrees from the University of Virginia and served as an Officer in the US Air Force.
